Leatt partners with Empire Motorsports Kawasaki for 2023 season

Leatt Australia proudly announce their head-to-toe sponsorship of successful top-tier Australian race team, Empire Motorsports Kawasaki, for the 2023 race season.

As Kawasaki Motors Australia’s official motocross and off-road effort, Empire Motorsports Kawasaki fields an impressive line-up of motocross riders including #386 Haruki Yokoyama (MX2), #10 Taylah McCutcheon (MXW), #82 Cambell Williams (MX3), and on the off-road side — #50 Will Price, and #409 Matt Ryan.

Unfortunately, #44 Jai Constantinou (MX2) is out with a broken leg suffered during pre-season training. He will be replaced at the season opener by multi-time New Zealand champion and highly accomplished international rider, #121 Cody Cooper (MX2).

“We’re absolutely wrapped to have such a high calibre race team join the Leatt family for the 2023 Australian motocross and off-road seasons,” said Leatt Brand Manager, Zac Sperling.

“The Empire Motorsports Kawasaki team run a slick operation, get great results on the track, and represent themselves in an approachable yet professional manner amongst the Australian motorcycle community — on and off the track,” Sperling continued.

“Testament to their pedigree is the fact that Kawasaki Australia has collaborated directly with them for five years running, now. When the opportunity arose for Leatt to join forces with Empire, it was a no-brainer... we can’t wait to see the gate drop with the team wearing Leatt from head to toe.”

Empire Motorsports Kawasaki Team Manager/Owner, Tyson Cherry commented, “Empire Kawasaki is super excited to be heading into the 2023 season with Leatt keeping our riders safe on the track. For us, it’s a new brand and it has a lot of good people in the company who are going above and beyond. The gear is awesome, and all our team are loving it.

The team will kick off their competitive year with round one of the Australian Pro Motocross Championship at Wonthaggi on Sunday 5 March. They will be sporting the Leatt 9.5 Carbon Helmet, 6.5 Goggles, 5.5 Pants and Jersey, 5.5 FlexLock Boots, and their personal preference of Leatt Protection items.

Off-road racers Will Price and Matt Ryan will be busy in 2023, repping the Leatt brand throughout their Australian Off-Road Championship, Victorian Off-Road Championship, GNCC, Hattah Desert Race, and Australian Four-Day Enduro campaigns.
